EST. 2012 — OUR STORY

The seed was planted long before 2012 — it all started as a boy wandering around antique shops and auction houses with my dad, buying, selling and developing an eye for vintage and antique pieces which soon turned into a passion and hobby turned full time business.

Cambrewood started as a family business and remains very much a family thing. What began with road trips, barn finds and a workshop full of reclaimed materials has grown into an independent vintage and mid-century furniture shop full of unique items, furniture with mid century style being at the heart of what we do and plenty of gift items too.

We're based on a working farm just outside Cambridge, where every piece passes through our hands before it reaches yours. We handpick items for quality so you can buy gifts or furniture from our collection for yourself or sent directly to friends or family confident that they will receive something carefully chosen by us.

What you'll find here is a mix of antique and vintage pieces, mid-century finds, wall decor and gift items from our own Cambrewood Collection as well as a few unique to Not on the High Street — all selected for their character, quality and originality.
